Washington Post : Sketching my way through Crisis

Here is the link to see my ‘occasional’ column for the Washington Post. I began this column June 22. Since you only get 3 free reads on the Washington Post before hitting their paywall, I’ve posted a few columns below. There are 8 total. The most recent is on top and if you scroll down you can see them all. While I have been writing and illustrating some stories for Medium.com in the past few years - this was a whole new experience for me. I felt like I was in a master class for ONE. For each theme I hoped to find a way to be relevant to what was going on in the world and how I am dealing with things that will hopefully resonate with others as well. I am so happy to hear from many people that they have been inspired to keep a sketchbook after reading the column! Please share your sketchbook drawing using #sketchwithgayle - and we will share some of them on Instagram and we will choose one to publish for each column. click HERE to see them on the Washington Post
