Working on a series of paintings on hair and makeup for Spring 2013. I especially love this top one. A great look for everyday :)
Every month I create an image for London Lace for their social media promotion. I decided last month to start series of women in windows. The top image is for May, below for April. I collage with a photo of the actual lace curtains.
A beautiful poster campaign!
At the end of November we adopted our first dog. He's a rescue from the South and he's an amazing dog. He is as soft as can be and seems his main purpose is to give and receive love - well - besides chasing anything that moves. So far he's caught and eaten a rabbit and a squirrel. He tried to eat a porcupine the other night and that went very badly for all of us. Really hoping he's smart enough to not do that again. Here is Charlie! And that isn't me. I'd never wear yellow. EVER.
I don't get to see my work printed this large very often !
I've had a lot of design work lately - and not any time for painting. Have a new project that will end with a show in the fall - I was just warming up here. I love taking unfinished paintings ( this background) and painting on top of them. It creates a look I probably couldn't get all in one shot
Very happy with my new fresh clean website design!
I am thrilled that my June Brides cover made it in all 4 competitions I entered it in.
Communication Arts, Print, Society of Illustrators LA and American illustration.
This is the front and back cover for the Encore Tours catalog. Encore is the music division of the travel company Acis where you can also see some of my work on their homepage. I worked on this with designer Alexis Neubert It was a lot of fun!

I've done many cards for Gina B Designs and a few calendars. Love this new floral calendar! Perfect for those who like to have all their friends and families birthdays written on actual paper!

I submitted some ideas for Spring covers to the New Yorker
But - none make the cut. But I still love them! Here are 2 of my favorites.
I wanted to capture a feeling of spring with flowers, butterflies and colors that I love.

Beyonce! Always looks pretty gorgeous.

Kim Bassinger's dress reminded me of Glenda the good witch

Here is Whoopie Goldberg is what his a perfect costume for Mardi Gras!
But for the Academy Awards? HMMMM

While having fun with my Oscar Fashion Hall of Fame - since the Grammys are tonight - i had a little fun with what I thought Carly Rae Jepson could wear - - her song Call Me Maybe is up for best song. And Mia - well, she gets my prize for silliest Grammy style. I think she had her baby a few days later.
Every day until the Academy Awards I will post one of my paintings from my 'Oscar Fashion Hall of Fame'
Here is Cher, Bjork and Barbara Streisand . I think they get the prize for the most outrageous.
Pretty excited these days with my new dog - Charlie - we go for a run every morning. But this is not my dog - and I'd never wear a pink hat :) this was inspired by my daughter's beautiful German Shepherd, Ike - who sadly died a few months ago. We miss him.
